today i went on a field trip with my criminal justice class to a law school. overall, it was freaking fun! it was a good day (:
there were a lot of white kids! asians too (i'm pretty sure we were the only non-white kids!). i'm mexican-american and i go to a school that's 98-99% hispanic, so it was different for us. and to top it off, we were hella under dressed! everyone was wearing suits and ties and dress clothes, and we were all casual in our jeans and flip flops! it was pretty embarrassing at first, but then we got used to it. we were blaming our teacher cuz he said "dress casually." and also, our teacher was asking them white kids if they knew what the word ratchet meant! he thought we were the only school that used that term, but he found out he was wrong! so pretty much, we were the under dressed mexican kids. it was a pretty fun day though, especially at lunch!
and i always thought that when the day came that i had to work with white people, i would be confident because honestly i am proud of being mexican, but today, oh man, it was so intimidating! not only were they well-dressed, but they were so smart and spoke so clearly! i freaking stutter and say "uh" and "um" a lot and they were speaking like freaking politicians or whatever! and they used big words and asked big long ass questions! the judges were impressed... at the white kids cuz our school didn't really speak. but one thing that bugged me was that there was this one white chick and from the moment she opened her mouth, i didn't like her! she was so stuck up and said that she was "smart" because she's home schooled! and i thought it was just me, but to my surprise, i wasn't the only one. me and my fiends were complaining about her at lunch, and i am so glad we did! :D we were saying stuff like, "oh you're home schooled? where's your prom, your basement!" it was so funny! we even told our teacher! :p honestly, the white people did make me feel kinda dumb |: but it was still fun. we had like an hour for lunch and the last school to leave cuz our bus took forever! i didn't go to any classes today (: and during lunch we were laughing so hard! we were having a little too much fun! :D anyway, fun day!

I'm thinking about cutting my hair.
Currently it falls about an inch and a half below my breasts.
I wanna cut it a little bit above my shoulders.
And get bangs maybe.
I'm just thinking about it.
But I really wanna do it.
Cuz you know, new look!
And if I don't like it, it's gonna grow back!
My hair grows fast anyway.
And yea, if I go to Utah in the summer, I want my Utah "friends" to see a new me (:

my mom cuts my hair (she's a hairstylist)
and usually she doesn't like to cut my hair really short.
She has short hair and likes long hair,
and she likes my long hair,
so....
idk if she'll want to do it.
But I'll give it a try and try to convince her.

Oh, and I was thinking maybe dye my hair too.
I've never dyed it before!
So maybe I wanna get highlights too,
burgundy.
But, first I wanna cut my hair
then we'll see...

I took my first AP test of the year today :o It was for Spanish. It was kinds easy... I hope I pass it!

L suuuuuucksss.!... Lol so for my English class like 2 times a week we have 10 minutes to write whatever's on our mind, and I've always always always written about L or something having to do with Utah. Like always! Since the beginning of the school year because I had just recently come back from Utah that summer and I had a lot on my mind, and ever since then I've always written about that. And I have yet to go back and read all of them since day 1. I wanna see what I wrote! I know I wrote about some good times with L... I just don't wanna dig in through all the papers from all my classes |: ... But anyway, so today we did one and I had really nothing to write about. Like the L thing is so old and there's nothing going on, so I wrote about him and his ex. I wrote something about how I remember when he told me that his ex broke up it him. I remember it kinda clearly. He told me through text. And it was either a Saturday or a Sunday, I think Saturday... And he told me something about how he would never be able to look at her in the eye again and blah blah blah. I didn't really care, I was like ok? But I mean I didn't tell him that! And I also wrote about how he looked her in the eye when he gave her a flower on New Year's.! Cuz that really got me pissed! Ok so little back story: It was New Year's Eve and I was in Utah, so my family's religious so we had to go to church, so he was there too, everyone was. So we spent the whole night there (it was from 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.!) but it was already the next morning, January 1, and APPARENTLY he gave his ex a rose, BUT I guess she didn't want it, so she decided to give it to me! Saying it was from HIM TO ME! "With lots of love" she said! And so one of my cousins tells me that he saw that he gave her a rose so I asked L if it was REALLY coming from him and he said "Yea"... By the way I believed him! So imagine how stupid I felt after learning the truth! I never confronted him though, or her... And he didn't even look at me in the eye when he said "yea", I guess he was surprised that I had the rose! Awkwaaaard! But anyway, yea I wrote about that. He made eye contact with her, and not me. He's a douche, huh?... Yup. I have this urge to tell him off, but I wanna do it in person. So I hope my mom will let me spend my summer in Utah (: And he has a new gf now. I don't know how to feel about that...

That is my main goal for this month! Exercise! Cuz next month, it is Summer and Utah here I come! In late June, God willing, my family and I will be going to Utah to visit my family over there, and HOPEFULLY my mom well let me spend a few weeks more there. That's like what I want for summer! That's what I've been waiting for! A little fun before SENIOR Year! So over there there's this one guy. Only if I stay for a few weeks will I see him. And I wanna impress him - with my body. I have good intentions though! I swear... well, if you see it from my point of view. He played me and made me look bad. I don't believe in revenge, so this is kinda my way of getting back at him, like "Look at me now! Look what you missed out on, JERK!" So yea. That's my goal, work out and get some muscle on this boney body of mine. I started a few months ago, but now is like the time! You know? Like now I have to really work hard to get that body because in June, I'm hoping that I have my body and kinda relax and stuff. So hopefully by June, or late June, I have more curves. And I am motivated, so... I think it will happen. What I'm mainly focusing on is my booty, my legs, and my tummy.
Another goal this month is to completely get rid of my acne. I also started working on this a few months ago. And currently I still have acne, but their dry... if that makes sense? Like I guess it's the acne scars. They really bother me, but I am seeing results and I do have some time on my hands, so I do feel like I'm gonna achieve this goal.
My last goal for this month is to raise my grades. The school year end in early June. I have about 6 weeks of school left, I have the last part of the state tests tomorrow, and the next two weeks I have AP tests (I'm taking 3!), and I need to raise my D in Math Analysis to a C and my F in AP Bio to a B! Oh and I have a project due a day after my AP Spanish test. Honestly, right now I'm not stressed. I'm taking it step by step. I'm confident that I'm gonna pass two of my AP tests, the state tests, I almost have a C in math, I've been caching up on my AP Bio work, I have all the work done for my project I just need to do the poster part - the easy stuff, and... yeah, I think that's it. I try not to worry about it, cuz that won't help, so I just don't stress, simple as that. I got this! I think I am gonna get a GPA of 3.6 this semester! Aw yeaaaaa! :D
 
May is gonna be a good month! A busy one, but a good one with lots of GOOD changes! You just have to really want it and be motivated and you will achieve your goals! May? Pshh, I got this!
